Случилось страшное: у меня закрыли
счёт... Можно ли что-нибудь сделать?
К счастью существует по крайней
мере два способа попытаться спасти свой счёт.
Первый способ простой. Идите по ссылке Reinstate
your account и в появившемся окошке введите свой
E-Mail адрес, после чего нажмите кнопку Reinstate
Account. Если Вы не спаммер и у Вас лишь один
счёт у Spedia, зарегистрированный на этот E-Mail адрес,
то очень вероятно, что Ваш счёт восстановят.
По крайней мере, у меня случилось однажды
закрытие моего счёта, и этот способ помог в
течение часа.
Второй способ следует применять лишь в
случае, если не помог первый. Приведу Вам
выдержки из переписки, которую вёл со Spedia один
мой знакомый обитатель сети.
Однажды, при попытке
залогиниться он получил сообщение, что его
аккаунт закрыт ("из-за каких-то там
махинаций")... Не мешкая, он написал письмо
на account@spedia.net следующего
содержания:
Hello.
My account has been locked due to system abuse. But I don't know why? I didn't
use any cheats program. My account is Biker ( ID 215329). Please, check it,
and I believe, that it is terrible mistake!

Не прошло и суток, как он
получает в ответ, что его счёт был отключен из-за
автоматической генерации очков:
Dear Biker:
Your account has been flagged by our systems in suspicion of one or more of the following
fraudulent activities:
****Automatic generation of ad points****
Till further notice you will not be able to accumulate ad points and/or access your
account. If you would like to dispute our action please send an email to
account@spedia.net.
We want to apologize in advance if the freezing of your account is caused by mistake.
Spedia has implemented a comprehensive system designed to identify computerized generation
of ad points. Some of the tools that our fraud-detection systems utilize include:
· Detection of browsing deviation based on unusual time/volume models
· Detection of automated redirection to yourname.spedia.net URLs
· Not responding to system upgrade messages in a reasonable fashion
· Usage of two or more Spedia applications simultaneously
· Usage of software that provides automation of repetitive mouse,
or keyboard tasks while SpediaBar is active
· Usage of programs that attempt to hide or disable SpediaBar
· Usage of programs that emulate SpediaBar
Enclosed are Spedia policies related to the activities mentioned above.
Automatic generation of ad points
Spedia strongly prohibits any usage of devices, machines, computers or other equipment for
automatic/computerized generation of ad points. Spedia has a very strict policy in this
regard
as the computerized generation of ad points negatively affects the value of the Spedia
members` ad points. Spedia will immediately terminate any account which it believes, in
its sole
discretion, is utilizing or is otherwise connected with any automatic/computerized
generation of ad points or other similar illegal activities. If the member is involved in
such activities,
and/or if the membership is terminated or canceled for any reason, the member will forfeit
all accumulated ad point balances and other bonuses.
You can check the exact reasons for the termination of your account in the Spedia
Hall-of-Shame.

очередное письмо, в котором пишет, что это,
вероятно, какое-то недоразумение и просит ещё раз
проверить его счёт:
